One of the newest addition to Gunung Kidul Beach Complex. The name of
Sadranan taken from Javanese tradition “nyadran” a tradition of giving a
tribute to god through the sea.

Located in Dusun
Pulegundes II, Desa Sidoharjo, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, surrounded with 3
beaches which is Sili Beach, Krakal Beach, and Ngandong Beach, so in case we
bored, we could travel to these three beaches by walking along the shore.

White sand and
Coral reefs making Sadranan Beach is a perfect spot to snorkeling, if you lucky
enough, you can also see a local fisherman hunting fish with the traditional
fishing web, there’s also a camping spot for those who want to have a beach
camp, if don’t, there’s also variants of inn that can be rent with a relatively
cheap price.

FYI Sadranan has 3 building above a man – made reef park which some kind of
exclusive villa, but the last time I got there it closed due the renovation
that will begin in 2016.
